…predicts Omisore’s future victory

OSOGBO — Founder and Spiritual Leader of Christ Deliverance Ministries, CDM, Lagos, His Grace, Prophet Ekong Ituen has warned that the All Progressives Congress (APC ) in Osun State faces an uphill task in the August 15, 2026 governorship election unless it urgently pursues reconciliation.
In a statement released on Saturday, the cleric said the party’s decision to block Governor Ademola Adeleke from defecting to the APC has deepened internal divisions and weakened its chances at the polls.
“You took a wrong step because of your personal political interest, by blocking Governor Adeleke from crossing over to APC. This has definitely brought about disunity and friction within the Party, thereby putting the party in a disadvantageous position of winning,” Ituen stated.
According to the prophet, his “recent spiritual observation” shows that without “reconciliatory efforts with divine intervention,” the APC will struggle to reclaim Osun Government House in 2026.
However, Ituen affirmed that Senator Iyiola Omisore would still occupy the Osun governorship seat “in the future,” though he did not give a specific timeline.
The prophet, who is known for issuing prophetic declarations on national and international political developments ahead of major elections, and other issues also referenced several past prophecies which according to records, had come to pass.
These include his 2023 prediction of victories for Governors Hope Uzodimma of Imo and Usman Ododo of Kogi, the 2024 forecast that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa would win in Ondo, and his 2023 warning to former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele about arrest and prosecution.
He also cited his January 2023 prediction that President Bola Tinubu and several APC governors would win, and his 2018 forecast that Gboyega Oyetola would win the Osun governorship at the time.
Other recent declarations by Ituen include a prediction that Biodun Oyebanji would win the June 20, 2026 Ekiti governorship poll, and a 2025 warning of “confusion and disappointment for some politicians” seeking party tickets in 2026.
The cleric urged politicians across the country to seek spiritual guidance ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying “2026 is a year of confusion for some anxious politicians.”
