…Clinic reveals medical advice offered the late Influencer before his death

Thai health officials have revealed that Nigerian-British businessman and social media personality Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo underwent five penis enlargement procedures at a Bangkok clinic in the 15 months leading up to his death in March.
The disclosure was made by the Department of Health Service Support, under Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health, in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 8, following an inspection of the clinic where the 43-year-old received his last treatment.
According to the department, Ubiribo died after collapsing while on holiday in Thailand with his wife. He had gone to the clinic for a penile filler procedure on March 5, 2026.
Authorities said the investigation began after emergency responders were called that day. Ubiribo was rushed to hospital after losing consciousness. His wife told the medical team at the hospital that he had received a filler injection earlier on March 5 and had gone for a massage afterward.
That account prompted officials to look into the facility where the procedure was done.
“This initial information led to an investigation of the clinic located on Rama 1 Road, Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, on September 7, 2026,” the statement said.
During questioning, the clinic told investigators that Ubiribo was not a first-time client. Health officials said the facility reported he had been coming for treatment since 2024.
Over that period, the clinic said it administered a total of five injections aimed at penile enlargement.
“The clinic’s management provided information stating that the patient had been a regular patient since 2024. The patient had received five injections to enlarge the male genitalia,” the statement noted.
According to the clinic’s records shared with investigators, the first four procedures took place sometime between 2024 and 2025. The fifth and final procedure was carried out on March 5, 2026 — the same day Ubiribo was taken to hospital and one day before he died.
For that last session, officials said the clinic administered 40cc of filler.
The department’s statement also addressed the clinical recommendations made ahead of the final procedure. According to the clinic, doctors advised Ubiribo not to have the full amount injected at once.
“The doctor recommended dividing the injection into two sessions, but the patient preferred a single injection.
“The clinic provided post-operative care instructions and followed up with the patient, who did not report any problems with the procedure. Furthermore, the patient signed consent forms before each procedure,” the statement added.
Health officials said the follow-up after the March 5 procedure did not indicate any immediate complications reported by the patient to the clinic. It was later that day that he lost consciousness and was taken to hospital.
The September 7 inspection was conducted to review the clinic’s licensing, procedures, and patient documentation in light of the incident. The Department of Health Service Support said it is continuing to review the case as part of its oversight of medical facilities offering cosmetic procedures in Bangkok.
Ubiribo, who was widely known online as “Tiny,” had built a following as a businessman and influencer with ties to both Nigeria and the UK. He was 43 at the time of his death.
Thai authorities have not released further details about the cause of death pending completion of their review. The clinic on Rama 1 Road remains under investigation.
The case has drawn attention to the risks associated with cosmetic filler procedures and to the importance of adhering to medical guidance on treatment schedules and aftercare.
