INTRODUCTION:
We are five months into the year 2025.
For some, it’s been a year of divine silence. For others, five months of waiting with nothing to show.
And then comes that quiet, choking whisper that few will ever admit aloud:
“Lord, I’m not getting younger.”
But what if the calendar forgot you-yet heaven still remembers?
Let me share a true story that proves God still keeps what we bury in pain.
A man in his mid-forties.
A graduate. A father of four daughters.
Years of rejection, countless applications-no stable job.
Then finally-a breakthrough:
A reputable company called him for a formal interview. The timing? 10:00 a.m. sharp.
But that very morning ,his pregnant wife went into complicated labor.
He had to choose: rush to the interview and risk losing his wife and child-or stay and possibly lose the opportunity he had waited years for.
He stayed.
He prayed.
He held her hand through the tears.
At 12 noon, when the delivery was still underway, he made a decision-to run to the interview anyway, just to explain.
When he arrived at 12:30 p.m., the doors were shut.
But something in him refused to walk away.
He knocked.
To his shock, the secretary opened and said:
“We’re so sorry for keeping you waiting so long. We’ve been dealing with unforeseen issues since morning.”
They thought he had arrived early.
He didn’t explain. He didn’t beg. There was no interview.
Instead, they handed him a job offer. An office. A car.
And just as he received it,his phone rang.
His wife had delivered. It was a healthy baby boy.
Two answers.
One moment.
One covenant-keeping God.
MAIN MESSAGE –
WHEN GOD REMEMBERS WHAT YOU THOUGHT WAS OVER.
Beloved, this is not just a testimony-it’s a divine announcement:
God still remembers what you buried.
That man thought it was over. Too late. Too many losses. Too many delays.
But the God of covenant does not measure time the way we do.
“At the time appointed, I will return…”- Genesis 18:14.
That’s what He told Abraham when Sarah’s womb was dead and time said “no.”
But covenant whispered: “Now.”
That man didn’t just get a job-he walked into a prepared promise.
He chose sacrifice over selfishness, and heaven answered with double joy:
A son. A position. A fresh start.
That’s what happens when covenant keeping God speaks.
You may feel forgotten-but God still remembers.
He hasn’t lost your file. He hasn’t ignored your seed.
Even if you’ve let it go-He hasn’t.
So as this new month begins, don’t measure yourself by what hasn’t happened.
Measure by the One who still keeps His word-even when your strength fails.
