…pass Vote of Confidence; approve selection of Ward Leaders, others
A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE MEETING OF THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) STAKEHOLDERS IN NSIT UBIUM LGA HELD ON THURSDAY, 22ND MAY, 2025.
At the meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders held at the residence of the Political Leader of the Party in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, Obong Ime Gamble, FCA, the Stakeholders deliberated on issues affecting the party and released the following communique:
1. The Stakeholders unanimously passed a Vote of Confidence on Obong Ime Gamble, FCA, as the Political Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nsit Ubium local government area.
2. The APC stakeholders expressed dismay, and condemned in strongest terms, the attitude of some disgruntled persons as reported in the social media, purporting to have elected some other person as the Political Leader of the party whereas the office of the Political Leader in Nsit Ubium LGA has not been declared vacant.
3. The Nsit Ubium APC Stakeholders however approved the selection of three (3) persons per Ward to function to wit:
I. Ward Leader
II. Deputy Ward Leader
III. Secretary of Ward Stakeholders
4. The Stakeholders further noted that the person purported to have been elected as the Party Leader is still serving his tenure as member of the State EXCO of the APC, hence cannot be the Party’s Political Leader.
5. The Stakeholders therefore draw the attention of the State Chairman of the Party to this destructive plot and also urged him to call the Chapter Chairman and other officers of the party from Nsit Ubium LGA to order with a view to cautioning them against acting in a manner that would cause bad blood as well as bring the APC in the local government area to disrepute.
6. The Nsit Ubium APC Stakeholders also called on the State Chairman, leaders of the Party in the state as well as the general public to discountenance any news of purported selection of a new leader, as Obong Ime Gamble, FCA, remains the Political Leader of the APC in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.
7. The APC Stakeholders in Nsit Ubium LGA also commended the President of the Senate, His Excellency, Distinguished Sen Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, for leading the 10th National Assembly in the right direction towards ensuring the actualization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the overall betterment of Nigerians.
