Udoedehe’s Political Shopping Spree: When will he leave politics and open a shop?

“We acknowledge the senator’s right to free speech, but let’s be real – he’s not championing citizens’ rights; he’s pursuing a hidden agenda that benefits no one but himself. The people of Akwa Ibom State deserve better than politicians playing games with their future” – Michael OkonĀ

Senator John Udoedehe’s statement on the Princess Udoito case is a predictable, tired move from a politician who’s running out of tricks – it’s electioneering season, and he’s trying to cash out on the gullible. The people of Akwa Ibom State see through this desperate play. Truth be told even if ADC will win a councillor seat in any state, it will have zero support in Akwa Ibom State because Senator Udoedehe has no trajectory of political integrity. He can not be trusted by the masses.

The senator claims to be concerned about Governor Umo Eno’s development agenda, but supporting Princess Udoito’s threats to the governor’s life and other acts capable of breaching the peace is a blatant contradiction. This isn’t leadership; it’s a calculated attempt to sow discord. A man who’s wants the governor to develop the land yet support a deranged young lady who’s chasing clout and wish to to truncate development is nothing short of double speak.

We acknowledge the senator’s right to free speech, but let’s be real – he’s not championing citizens’ rights; he’s pursuing a hidden agenda that benefits no one but himself. The people of Akwa Ibom State deserve better than politicians playing games with their future.

The Coalition Of Youth Leaders In Akwa Ibom State believes in freedom of speech, but we also recognize that one’s freedom ends where another’s begins. Threats to the governor’s life and incitement to violence aren’t acceptable; they’re a recipe for chaos and anarchy. The Princess had her moment of online fame, let the law of our country interpret the consequences of her actions. This is not about His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno PhD, it’s about the law and the self acclaimed ancestral Princess now behind bars awaiting the verdict of our laws.

Instead of supporting Princess Udoito’s actions, we call on her supporters and agents to seek avenues to placate the governor with an apology. Governor Umo Eno is first a citizen, a son of Akwa Ibom State, and a leader who deserves respect. He has the right to defend his fundamental human rights, and it’s time for Princess Udoito and her agents to tender an unreserved apology to him with hope he shall be the father we know him to be. Let’s prioritize healing and reconciliation over confrontation and bitterness.

Being a governor doesn’t strip him of his fundamental human rights, globally accepted. The police have issued a statement that the princess’ matter is before a competent court, and we should respect the judicial process.

Senator Udoedehe’s statement is subjudice and appears to be a desperate, last-ditch attempt to garner empathy from Akwa Ibomites, who already see him as a political sell-out. This won’t work; the people are wiser than that.

The people of Akwa Ibom State won’t be swayed by empty rhetoric and divisive politics. We want development, progress, and prosperity – not politicians playing petty games.

Governor Umo Eno has the right to protect his reputation and seek justice. Princess Udoito’s actions, as alleged, are unacceptable and undermine the rule of law.

The senator’s attempt to shift focus from the governor’s achievements to Princess Udoito’s case is a tired tactic that won’t fly. Akwa Ibomites see through this desperate ploy.

We urge Senator Udoedehe to focus on his party’s lack of achievements and track record rather than meddling in ongoing legal proceedings. What’s his party done for Akwa Ibom State? Nothing.

The Coalition Of Youth Leaders In Akwa Ibom State stands with Governor Umo Eno in his quest for justice and development. We’re committed to building a better Akwa Ibom State, free from divisive politics and empty promises.

Let’s allow the law to take its course, respect the judicial process, and focus on building a brighter future for Akwa Ibom State.
