Nigeria’s football governing body, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reportedly cancelled earlier plans for international friendlies which were to be against Venezuela and Colombia.
Recall that both matches were initially scheduled to take place in the United States of America in November but the playoffs qualification has now nullified that.
According to an unconfirmed report which quoted a representative at NFF, “The friendlies have been called off because the date clashed with the World Cup playoffs slated for Morocco in November”.
Nigeria was originally scheduled to play Venezuela on November 14 and Colombia on November 18, but now, the focus will be
Gabon in the World Cup playoff semi-final on November 13 in Morocco.
