Board Member representing Kwara South at the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mrs. Yemisi Monisola Makanjuola, has met with six-year-old Abdulsalam Yusuf, the Scrabble prodigy who won a gold medal for Team Kwara at the National Youth Games in Asaba.
According to information obtained by Just Event Online TV through Ayodeji Ismail Facebook page, Yusuf, who dazzled spectators with his brilliance on the board, has been celebrated as one of the youngest champions to emerge from the Games.
Mrs. Makanjuola described him as a symbol of Kwara’s rising sporting talents and assured that the Commission would continue to support and nurture young athletes across the state.
