Some years back, when the clouds of fear darkened Akwa Ibom State and even the boldest voices retreated into silence, one man stood tall—His name is Thomas Thomas.
In a time when speaking truth invited persecution and the powerful silenced dissent, Thomas Thomas refused to back down. Instead, he rallied a few brave patriots and birthed the Global Concord Newspaper, a fearless platform that gave the voiceless a voice and brought hidden truths to light. When opposition leaders disappeared from the scene, he remained—lone but undeterred—rallying hope, rebuilding resistance, and reigniting the conscience of a people.
Now, this same Thomas Thomas is offering himself to serve as Publicity Secretary of the University of Uyo Alumni Association. He is a brand-builder, a truth-bearer, and a man proven under pressure.
